A Look Into My World

Hey there! I’m Jaxie Garza, a recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a B.F.A. in Fashion Marketing and Management. Growing up, my family was always moving around, which meant I was constantly adapting to new places. Fashion became my way of expressing myself through all of those changes. Each new town was like a playground for my style, giving me the chance to experiment and find what felt right.

From exploring my mom and sister’s wardrobes to browsing consignment stores and upscale boutiques, I soaked up inspiration everywhere. Fashion became my passion and my personal form of art. Experiencing different cultures and environments has taught me that fashion is a universal language and how transformative fashion can be. It is not just about looking good; it is about feeling confident and true to myself wherever I am.

During my time at SCAD, I had the opportunity to work on dynamic projects that pushed me to think creatively and strategically. I was immersed in projects spanning from brand and product development, market analysis, fashion merchandising, and digital marketing. These projects ranged from designing fashion campaigns to formulating buying strategies for companies. These are just a few experiences that have given me a well-rounded view of the fashion industry, honed my skills, and fueled my passion for making a meaningful impact in the world of fashion.
